Getting Help
We're here to help you get the most out of SwiftD1. Below you'll find answers to common questions and ways to reach us.
Common Questions
How do I connect to my Cloudflare D1 database?
You'll need a Cloudflare API token with D1 read/write permissions. In the App, go to Settings and add your Cloudflare account with your API token. Your databases will appear automatically once authenticated.
Where are my API tokens stored?
All API tokens are stored securely in the macOS Keychain. They are never sent to our servers or any third party — only to Cloudflare's API endpoints.
The App cannot connect to Cloudflare
Please verify the following:
- Your API token is valid and has not expired
- Your token has the required D1 permissions (Account > D1 > Edit)
- Your internet connection is working
- Cloudflare's API is not experiencing an outage — check Cloudflare Status
How do I open a local SQLite file?
Use File → Open or drag and drop a .sqlite / .db file
directly into the App window. The file will be opened in read-write mode.
Can I use SwiftD1 offline?
Yes — you can work with local SQLite files without an internet connection. Cloudflare D1 databases require an active connection to Cloudflare's API.
System Requirements
