Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SwiftD1 ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

SwiftD1 is a native macOS application developed by mgcrea that provides a graphical interface for browsing, querying, and editing Cloudflare D1 and SQLite databases. The App connects to Cloudflare's API using credentials you provide.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App

Subscriptions and Payments

SwiftD1 may offer features that require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. All payments are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan)
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following notice of the change.

Free Features

Certain features of the App may be available at no cost. We reserve the right to modify which features are included in the free tier at any time.

Your Cloudflare Account

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Cloudflare API tokens
• All activity that occurs through the App using your credentials
• Ensuring your API tokens have appropriate permission scopes
• Complying with Cloudflare's Terms of Service

Database Operations

You acknowledge that database operations performed through the App — including editing, deleting, and executing SQL queries — may be irreversible. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining adequate backups of your data
• Reviewing queries before execution
• Any consequences resulting from database modifications made through the App

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and trademarks, is the property of mgcrea and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any data will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, mgcrea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or database corruption
• Unauthorized access resulting from compromised API tokens
• Interruptions to Cloudflare services
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

Third-Party Services

The App relies on Cloudflare's API and infrastructure. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of Cloudflare's services. Your use of Cloudflare services is governed by Cloudflare's own terms and policies.

Termination

Your license to use the App terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
